One shared ticker a day. Call it higher or lower, put a confidence on it, and build a track record the market verifies — not your memory of being right.

One round a day · resolves at tomorrow's close
Receipts, not vibes
Every call locks the moment you make it and resolves against the actual close. Hits and misses both go on your record — the share card looks the same either way, and there's no deleting the bad takes.

Scoring rewards calibration
Every resolved call earns up to 100 points. Being right isn't enough — how confident you were matters.
Direction
Did the price move the way you called it?
Accuracy
How close the close landed to your target or move.
Calibration
Confidence that matches how often you're actually right.
Your rating starts at 45 — the coin-flip baseline — and climbs only with evidence. Overconfidence costs you, hedging cancels itself out, and every resolved call counts whether you showed it off or not.
Questions, answered
What is StockGuessr?
StockGuessr is a free social game about market predictions. Every day there is one shared ticker — the Daily Call. You call whether it closes higher or lower, attach a confidence level, and the actual market close settles it. Points, streaks, and group leaderboards track how well-calibrated your calls are over time. It is for entertainment and education — no real money is involved.
How does scoring work?
Each resolved call earns up to 100 points: 40 for direction (did the price move the way you called it), 40 for accuracy (how close the close landed to your call), and 20 for calibration (whether your stated confidence matches how often you are actually right). Overconfidence costs points, so the game rewards honest uncertainty over bravado.
Is this financial advice?
No. StockGuessr is a game for entertainment and education. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, and no real money is staked or won. Do not make investment decisions based on anything you see here — including your own winning streak.
Where do the prices come from?
Calls resolve against real end-of-day market data. Once a call is resolved, its resolution price and score are recorded permanently — results never change retroactively, which is what makes a track record on StockGuessr meaningful.
How do streaks work?
Playing the Daily Call on consecutive days builds a streak. Your streak survives through today as long as you played yesterday — you have until the end of the day (UTC) to keep it alive. Miss a full day and the streak resets, though your points and record stay.
Can I play with friends?
Yes — create a group and share its invite link. Everyone in the group plays the same Daily Call, and a group leaderboard tracks points per season. Groups are free, and there is no limit on how many friends you can invite.
